Recycling just a fad for geeks?

Is recycling just a fad for geeks?  Check out my website at http://recycleit.zoomshare.com  (recycling links) and decide for yourself?   People say "going green" is the wave of the future, but is it human nature to use up everything in site?

Re: Recycling just a fad for geeks?

Cool home page - lots of great stuff to look at and read.  Gosh, I hope recycling is not just a fad for geeks.  Individuals can make a big difference, and I think that a "green perspective" should become ingrained in all of us and thereby change our behavior and how we view water, energy, and waste in this world.  However, I also think we need to ensure that business get into the limiting carbon emission game too..  and if they won't do it voluntarily, we should force 'em.  wink

This is an important issue - thanks for helping to raise awareness in our forums.

Re: Recycling just a fad for geeks?

They should:
*Stop using those smokestacks (If they don't, release it to another planet.)
*Use more Solar Panels and wind turbines. (I am soooooooooooooo happy about Iowa. They have TONS!)
*Add more turbines in the water (It would be cool if there was one for every half/whole mile on a river)
Oh and Sare, I agree with you more than %100. smile cool The nerd, who is me, may come up with more ideas than 3. Oh, don't forget to check http://www.colinmurff.zoomshare.com/9.html for updates on going green. Recycleit's link will be on the page too.
